HANDWAVED CR MEME



Everyone gets busy sometimes! RL stuff happens, motivation to RP drops, or sometimes you've just got too many threads already and you know your limitations. This is a meme to fill in some of those "off-screen" gaps with interactions your character could/would have logically had with others! It's a wonderful way to round out CR and maybe figure out just what good friends (or terrible enemies!) your character might be with someone else, outside of landmark interactions that have been threaded out.

Interactions have been divided up into some basic categories below! Reply to each header with what your character has been up to in that subject, and then tag around to the people you think they may have run into. Discuss and prosper! ♥

OH MY GOD THEY WERE ROOMMATES

Have a roommate or bunkmate from camp that you haven't gotten to thread with much? Have some neighbors on your same floor that you'd like to work out something with? Talk about your character's living space routines and what they've been doing with that here!

Sayori

On the Moon Base, Sayori lives on Floor 5, Natura in room 505 with Sun Wukong!
♥ She doesn't invite people to her room very often (because it's often messy, which she is cagey about bc it's due to Depression, but she laughs it off as just being clumsy or lazy if it comes up.)
♥ She usually wakes up on the later side, between 10am and noon (and sometimes afternoon on bad days), so she usually doesn't come out of her room for the day until then.
♥ Sometimes she is up kind of late though she's not very noisy--the main things to notice would be footsteps, toilet flushing/water running, and lights on.
♥ She would absolutely introduce herself to her Floor 5 neighbors! I think the only opportunity to say hi to most of them would have been in the days before the camp interlude and the days before they departed for Etude in Blue, unless they came in during or before the app round that she did!

At camp, she was in the Bard cabin!
♥ The most important thing to note is that she would have gladly taken a bottom bunk (due to not wanting to disturb people because of occasional insomnia but again, she'd be cagey/flippant about that.) Similar to the above, sometimes she was up kind of late, trying to be quiet and usually writing or sitting/wandering around outside.
♥ She was a bit of a messy roommate--most of the time her mess was contained to her own bed and trunk, but sometimes she'd put things down on communal surfaces and forget about them. Clothes on the floor occasionally escaped her notice. She was always very apologetic about this.
♥ They're all bards anyway but she would have gladly used Prestidigitation to clean her roommates' clothes if they didn't want to do it!
♥ She was a total glutton about communal food, but she'd always say thank you and would have brought back snacks and junk food to share.
♥ She would have been very about Group Activities like icebreakers, storytelling, and games!
♥ She had no qualms about changing clothes in front of roommates (though not to full nudity.) I'm very sorry.

Michael

On the moon, Michael lives in Natura 501! He's alone at present, but I imagine that'll change.

- He pretty much never invites people into his room because he's still weird about the concept of having a bedroom? Or any private space really?
- He keeps odd hours, seeming to stay awake as long as he possibly can before crashing at a fairly random time of day and then sleeping for like sixteen hours.
- Despite this, he doesn't make a lot of noise, so he's not likely to wake anyone.
- Houseplants. He has them. He may not actually know how to take care of them but he definitely has them.
- He's friendly! He may go bother other people who are awake at night if they're open to that, because he gets bored and lonely. You know, like a toddler or a cat.

At camp, he was in the Sorcerer cabin!

- were any of the other sorcerers actually staying in the cabin because it sure didn't seem that way

McCree

— McCree lives in Ecclesia in Room 303 with Chiron. Soldier: 76 is two doors down and doesn't have a roommate, so if Whit's cool with it, I'll bet McCree spends some time chilling in 76's room until the old man gets sick of him and boots him out.
— He doesn't really have a lot of stuff in his room, but what he does have he just kind of kicks under the bed and has to go rooting around for later.
— The man likes to sleep in and has mastered that "just rolled out of bed" look. Mainly because whenever you see him, he's just rolled out of bed.
— At camp, he was in the Rangers and Rogues cabin and he found a journal while cleaning that showed how to make potions to protect against status effects. He passed the knowledge on and hopefully it helped a few people.

On the Moon base, Roxas lives on Vero 405 with Dave Strider.

- He tries to keep his side of the room neat but that only goes so well.
- He's a light sleeper and tends to move to the Common Room if he's having a bad night/can't sleep.
- He's used to having a room to himself so he tries to be a good roomie.
- There's probably a pile of books that he really should return to the library.

At Camp, he was in the Fighter Cabin

- He helped repair some of the beds
- He probably helped Hayner deal with Beacon

Honoka

Honoka is livin it UP on Floor 1, Regius in Room 104! She's sort of?? Tentatively?? Shopping around for a new roommate because Sans is nice but living with A Guy is making her Incredibly Stressed.

She keeps surprisingly regular hours?? And gets up weirdly earlier than you'd expect from Honoka – she's usually up and about at around 7ish, maybe half eight if she's having a really lazy morning. Something to note is that she's almost always up out the door not more than half an hour after she's gotten up. Honk has places to be!!!

At camp Honoka was AT BARD HOUSE!!! She was a very high energy and honestly probably a little obnoxious roommate and for that, I sincerely apologize. She had a good time though and if you hung out with her at camp she has probably been treating you like the two of you are best friends ever since.

On the Moon, Alex lives in Prosperitas 205, currently alone!

- He's not really looking for a roommate, but if asked he probably jokes about how he "probably chased the last guy off."
- The room is remarkably clean for a teenager living in it? He also made sure to uh..."death proof" it, getting corks and stuff from town to put over anything sharp and like. Duct-taping unnecessary drawers closed.
- He almost introduced himself to his neighbors, but chickened out immediately.
- The most clutter around the room are books from the library. There are a lot of books from the library.

At camp, he was in the Warlock cabin.

- He absolutely "death proofed" the cabin too, down to trying to sand any uneven wood- look, splinters can cause INFECTIONS, he'd have said to anyone who asked-- yeah that's who he is.
- He would've made sure to clean anything left out by himself OR any of the others that could've caused danger. So, like, anything, if you left it out, because let's be honest the world is a nightmare and you can die anywhere. #thanksalex
- But honestly he didn't really spend a lot of spare time in the cabin? He just sort of...had a lot of nervous energy and would abruptly leave, even if someone else was there.
- Absolutely couldn't sleep well and some nights just skipped sleep altogether. He tried not to wander around at night, but if he ran into any other night owls nearby his cabin, he probably struck up conversation. Awkward conversation, but conversation.

Bakugo rooms in 504, Natura with Deku and I pity everyone who sleeps under, above, or next to their room.

Bakugo was the one who told him to move in after his last roommate left but they still get in fights.. very frequently. Mostly because Deku's face pisses Bakugo off and he just seems to like finding reasons to be mad at him. So he'll yell at him (and really I mean scream because Bakugo is always turned up to full volume at all times) if his bed is messy or yell if he leaves something dirty or doesn't pick up his clothes and they've probably punched each other at least once.

But they're best friends I promise.

Other than that, he was in the Bard Cabin for camp!

He cooked for everyone when he could. He takes initiative and figured no one else knew how to cook to save their lives so he took it upon himself to save their dumb, starving asses and feed them. (When he went to training camp, they all cooked together and bonded so this was his way of trying to bond without actually having to y'know. Be Nice And Talk To People.)

He also kept the place tidy! He's a neatfreak so he cleaned up after himself and everyone else if he had a moment alone in the cabin.

He always went to bed at 9 pm at the latest, even if you nerds wanted to stay up late to tell stories or whatever. And he sleeps like a rock so y'know he was the perfect target for harmless pranks (but you'd have to be prepared to get smacked for it. And also probably lose your hearing from how loud he'd scream about it.)

He also would participate in group activities, but he'd do his best to "win" them even if it was something as simple as playing Have You Ever.

And... I mentioned this above but after spending time with them he pretty much would die for the other bards. He's more naggy/angry towards them when he sees them but if anyone else would insult or harm them in front of him he'd definitely protect them. He's a "only I can insult my friends" kind of guy.

Basically if you were in Bard House:tm: you now have a bodyguard who also demeans and insults you. You're welcome.

I'm on hiatus cos I'm moving, but I'm still excited to continue old cr and get new things started!

On the Moon Base, Mia is back to being without a roommate in Prosperitas 201. she's been through two roommates so far so maybe she's actually cursed? Fey luck for you.

-Mia's fairly reclusive about her own things, mostly keeping to her own room when she's in her unit, but is also polite and may have greeted others entering as she passes.

-She isnt one to have invited anyone over yet, though. The space still feels.. Borrowed, and she's been keeping it exceptionally neat.

-most of the time Mia would actually be out and about the base, getting to know the different ways around better (and being nosey).

-that said she won't go out looking casual in the slightest. She is always dressed and ready to go. Where does she find the time?? Makeup? Did. Hair? Brushed. Teeth? Also brushed. Real Adult vibes here.

-if she cant be found around the base she's likely checking up on her sister.

-despite being dead three years she still introduces herself simply as an attorney. She also has been getting over falling asleep at inopportune times and forgetting to eat- side effects of having no corporeal form for a while.

At camp, Mia was in the Monk housing. I dropped some of those threads for work related reasons, so I'd love to work out more of that camp junk. But I don't really remember that she did anything cool or important.... She would have introduced herself all around tho!

Ferran

On base, Ferran lives in 302 with Mista!

• He doesn't spend a whole lot of time there aside from the evenings, and he doesn't usually invite people over for that reason, but if he's making snacks or dinner or something and he spots a friend, he's not opposed to letting them in!
  
• He keeps his part of the room decently clean with some scattered books and items. He's got a chest of Important Stuff that he mostly... puts said stuff in and then locks up and never takes anything out of. It's safer to use the copies he can make! The original version of his necklace and the photo he got from initiation are stored in there, along with a book or two.
  
• He's a morning person, so if he's up late it's not going to be because he wants to be. In those cases he usually just makes a drink or heads outside for a while.
  
• His Official Moonbase Familiar is Butter, the best tiny dog who can be found on or near his person at all times. He is the fluffiest thing you'll ever see.

Nobody who was in Smart Cabin is here anymore ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

• He spent most of his time at camp studying the academy curriculum he brought with him, training with magic/exercising, and shoving his face into Butter's fur.

Minato Arisato

On the Moon Base he lives in 401 with Willard Wright.
▶ If you've ever been in or gotten a glimpse inside his room, the unit looks barely lived in. Neither of the occupants are big on decorating. Though there is a broken, shattered violin on display from when Minato died.
▶ His new violin is black with a sugar skull painted on it in the bottom right, though with a dog skull instead of a human's.
▶ He can be found taking walks at all sorts of hours, or in the library with a stack of books that he's not really reading. Sometimes he'll be randomly passed out in a chair or some nook in town.
▶ He practices violin and poetry. His friends like them! And they're pretty bardic things to do.
▶ He's in Bender's cafe a lot because the food is free. If a stranger sat down across from him for no reason he would shrug it off and continue doing his thing until they interacted with him.
▶ He attends classes regularly, and isn't the most diligent student despite them being entirely optional. He hasn't actually had a chance to attend his mandatory Stop Dying 101 course due to the corporate retreat.

During the Corporate Retreat/Camp he was in the Bard cabin. I was actually away for most of this interlude so I'd love to handwave some CR here!
▶ Minato is quiet. In a large group he typically wouldn't speak unless prompted to and the more people in a room the more he keeps to himself. He's friendly though and would talk to anyone that wanted to talk to him.
▶ It's very easy to drag him into things. Even if he says no. Beg or gang up on him and he'll give in quick. Or grab him and literally drag him along.
▶ He would have been getting used to his insomnia, so he may have been snippier than usual, making sarcastic remarks or walking away mid-sentence from a conversation he found dull or unpleasant. If you'd like him to have been rude in some way to your character let me know!
▶ He didn't have a violin in this interlude!!
▶ Warning! Suicidal imagery: Minato summons his Persona by shooting himself in the head with a fake gun. He used this during the livestream at the end of the camp and Sans Undertale caught it happening.

Eleanor

On the Moon Base, Eleanor is in Musica 606! She currently has no roommate.

▶ She's picky about who she invites to her room just because she's protective of her space (Michael is the exception)
▶ Her room walks the line between neat and messy, typically there's at least clothes thrown around here and there but some days she just decides "okay no, it's Clean Time" and tidies up.
▶ Her sleep schedule is a little wonky, usually she's good at getting a full 8 hours but there are nights when her brain Will Not Stop and she has to take a walk.

At camp she was in the Bard cabin!! I was having kind of a rough time at work during this and didn't really have the energy to, like, Do Anything so I'd love to handwave some CR out here.

▶ She spent a lot of time feeling weird because she was the oldest person in the cabin by A Lot but overall she had a nice time since all the other bards are good beans.
▶ Made an effort to style herself as the Cool Aunt of Bard Cabin (tm) and was pretty happy to chat and more than a couple of times brought up the subject of moral philosophy.
▶ She absolutely tried to make breakfast for her cabin all of once, ended up setting it on fire and just decided to let Bakugo do all the cooking from there on out.
▶ She had a lot of trouble sleeping at the camp and ended up taking a few night walks and then sleeping way too late the next morning.
▶ She brought the absolutely weirdest junk food she could find and tried to see if anyone (from across the camp) would eat them with her.

Maya

On the Moon Base, Maya lives on Vero 404 with Kaede!!

-She's a total neat freak and keeps the entire room clean
-She also goes to clean Sans's room on occasion
-Very open to having people over!! Her side of the room is pretty simplistic but she likes to collect posters and various things from missions and has them around
-Early riser!! She's up and about at like 6 or 7 AM, doing stuff, always on the go
-Nick Junior has a little nest next to her pillows
-She has difficulty sleeping/nightmares more often than not, so sometimes she's out and about in the night
-She's friendly with her whole floor!!
-Hangs out w her sister a lot

At camp Maya was in Warlock Cabin!

-She cleaned it very vigorously and forced as many of the other Warlocks as she could to help her
-She smuggled a million snacks (mostly campfire stuff like s'mores) and shared them with everyone, teaching people how to make them!
-Probably tried to play games and such with the other Warlocks and chatted them up a lot
-Nick Junior was always with her
-Was only in the cabin at night like half the time, she slipped out mysteriously and either returned mysteriously or didn't return
-Anyone up really late might have caught her having nightmares on occasion
-But as mentioned she's an extremely early riser so she was up and gone pretty early anyway!!
-She spent most of her time with this amazing creature who other ppl could have gotten a glimpse of

MISSIONS

A lot happens on missions! So much to RNG, so much to thread, and somehow so little time! Talk about what your character was up to on various missions and find some interactions with other Reclaimers that you never got to thread out.

McCree

— McCree was with Maya when she tried channeling the spirits of Vista Virs and their rage and threats of revenge scared the crap out of the two of them. Might have been a bit noticeable when Maya used her bracer to warn everybody about the spirits.
— McCree's that dude who fell off Maru and went splat. Some people were concerned about that.
— On this latest mission, McCree had a dolphin companion and could be seen riding around on it. He even beat Wash in a race where Wash was riding a giant seahorse!

Ferran

Ferran hated Maru.

• He is an urban child and camping is fun for like 3 days. He may have copied a couple extra bed rolls to sleep on to pretend he was comfortable and wouldn't have been opposed to doing the same for other people.
  
• Otherwise he spent a lot of his time exploring the surface and the smaller caves, rather than the mine. He was definitely up for helping to move supplies where he could, but he is but a teenage wizard with not a lot of pure strength.
  
• He definitely went swimming in the lake once or twice, but after Hibiki's death he pretty much avoided it altogether.

He was definitely out and about in Lyrabar! An actual city, yaaaay!

• He went to a library or two, talked up some magic people and merchants, and bought a few fancy things just because he liked them.
  
• Given how much he likes the ocean, he was definitely out exploring there as well with the aid of some shrimp chips, but mostly near the settlements, shallows, and coral reef, avoiding monsters whenever he could. He swam along with his dolphin familiar during these times, but would have offered to let anyone hang on if they seemed to have trouble with swimming.

Minato Arisato

Maru
▶ Minato spent too much time by the lake at night, despite all of the weird things that affected people.
▶ He died saving good dog Cocoa, and was revived in Phandalin before checking himself in at the infirmary.

Camp
▶ Warning! Suicidal imagery: Minato summons his Persona by shooting himself in the head with a fake gun. He used this during the livestream at the end of the camp and Sans Undertale filmed it, so any reclaimer could have seen it happen.

Lyrabar
▶ A team of Gundam, Maya, Kaede, and himself successfully reunited the baby seal Dobhar-chú back with his family.
▶ CTA: He and Dave recruited people to help dig out the sea quartz from the mine before it all exploded, and took a trip to the deserts of Vista Virs and dumped it in a remote area far away from any civilization so that if/when it exploded people would be safe.

Maya

-Maya was adopted by an overprotective giant cat in Candlenights, who would like drag her off by the scruff and put her in the den whenever she caught Maya out and about, anyone present during this mission probably witnessed this at some point because it happened Often
-She was part of the relic team who retrieved the mittens, she helped talk a giant spiderlady down from genocide
-She still sometimes goes to New New Aspen during downtime to visit the catfam
-In Vista Virs Hinata broke a piano and got banned from the tavern, he then fled into the desert for a bit as a piano fugitive and Maya went with him for solidarity
-Maya was worked up about the topaz and the specters from day 1 and spent a lot of her time and energy trying to help the specters souls move on and complaining endlessly about how the topaz was screwing with the life or death cycle
-When the spirits of Vista Virs broke free and were trying to kill everyone, McCree and Maya attempted to contact them, Maya got possessed by the collective (legion) and nearly lost her soul to it. She and McCree passed on their info through their bracers, but Maya's been heavily traumatized about it since
-Also since Vista Virs Maya has always brought a huge amount of food from base with her for some reason I wonder why mysterious
-In Maru she, Will, Lion, and Shinjiro tried to get past the Womping Willow early on in the mission but they failed, nearly died, and Maya was scarred. She's had a long scar on her shoulder every since, a small part of it is visible
-Was later part of the CTA team that had to get past the willow, this time they succeeded by breaking its enchantment to violently fight anyone trying to get close to it
-The tree was saved by all Persona users working together to repot it, it's now in the quad
-Maya also spent like 2 days with McCree's corpse after he fell it's fine.
-In Lyrabar, Maya was framed for murder and spent a couple of days in jail. Mia, Alex, and Will solved the case and got her out, impressing Irene!
-She also befriended sharks with her druid training, named Finny and Finnia who she rode around. Finny died protecting Mia and Maya and was the Reclaimers' most tragic loss
-She orchestrated a pirate heist where a large group of Reclaimers managed to seize three whole pirate ships
-She helped with Sealquest and got Dobhar-Chu reunited with his family!! Awwww
-She semi-befriended the kraken (Fou, or Miso, as he has been renamed) by constantly feeding it delicious ramen
-Also accidentally summoned Heathcliff instead of Silvanus? and then went on a journey to get him sand for his giant litter box.......

There's actually more than this I just can't remember all the wacky shit Maya got up to

Wash

Vista Virs

• Wash spent a lot of time making solo trips into the desert, namely to track down other reclaimers and make sure they were okay. There's an upside to temperature controlled armor.


• He also talked copy!Lucas into giving him the Architect's Pen, with a whole lot of "this isn't what your mother wants" in the speech. Charisma Oreos, man.


• He spent a lot of time with the Vista Virs rebuild, essentially working himself to exhaustion.

Maru

• He made friends with a lot of the goblins by giving them onions. No, seriously.


• He went exploring in the mountain with Bread! Bread is the goddamn best.


• After Maru crumbled, he was one of the people on the ground tasked with taking out the monsters and finding the relic. He helped convince the local displaced Oread to guard Vista Virs, and he got the hell beaten out of him in the monster fights.

Lyrabar

• He was definitely beyond amused that Find Steed netted him a giant seahorse, and he subsequently raced McCree and his dolphin on said seahorse and...well, lost. Hard to beat a cowboy in a riding contest.


• He took on the Death Cave: Extra Hard Version and died! Because he's an idiot. There's nobody still here who knows he died, but someone who knows him well has probably noticed that he's a bit cagey around magic now.


• He definitely gained a fear of magic as a result of his death. He's...working through that.


• Got a super fancy super good boat! Used it to fight off pirates! Later gave it to Irene, because she needs it more than he does and he's not opposed to currying favor.


• He was on Team Purification for the CTA and was operating the magic amplification device, which malfunctioned and triggered the chain reaction that caused the explosion. The machine was faulty from the get-go, but he doesn't know that; instead, he blames himself, which means he also essentially blames himself for Karsus' death.


• He spent a lot of time in the aftermath working to rebuild Lyrabar - helping with road repairs during the day and patrolling at night. An observant person may have noticed that he wasn't sleeping a lot - possibly not at all.

LEARNING 101 CLASS

Can be either classes at the Academy on the Moon Base or classes your character has set up themselves (For example, routine training.) Talk about your interactions with teachers and classmates here!

Wash has been an attendee of Stop Dying 101 from the beginning (despite the fact that it wasn't mandatory yet); he's also assisting with combat class and running personalized combat training for a number of people - namely, the people who look like they don't already have it.

He's also in the dojo during the interludes. A lot. Sparring partners, anybody?

Roxas

Roxas attends class fairly regularly and does his best to be a good student (he'll do homework but it might be a little under the wire). He also goes to Brad Bradson's meditation classes, though that usually results in him falling asleep.

And some days he just wants to go skateboarding.

There wasn't a lot of time, but Alex started taking some classes back at the Moon Base, after the lunar interlude. Mostly it's theories of magic, theology stuff. Also basic history of the world. Things that, hopefully, he could use to be prepared for the mission! ...Ha.

Anyway, he's not a super diligent student? (That'll change.) But if you took classes like that, you might've run into him, as he started those up as soon as they got back from camp.

IT'S MY THING

Does your character have a habit or Thing that people probably would have noticed them for? (For example, Sans and his snack stand.) Talk about those Things here! Maybe you've secretly got a regular observer or participant in these activities.

Roxas

If it's an average day on the Moonbase, Roxas can usually be found training with various weapons in the dojo or looking up stuff in the library.

Later on in the day, he can be found meditating/napping near the Director's statue in the quad or watching the sunset from the edge of the Moonbase. Heights don't really bother this kid, but ice cream would be a welcome addition to the activity.

MISCELLANEOUS

Since we only had a few days at the moon base between camp and the mission, Alex didn't have a lot of time to acclimate himself so he didn't really...get any kind of part-time job. BUT he did look into maybe helping around the library? The library seems like a safe place, right. So he spends most of his free time there, and...honestly hasn't yet ventured into town at all. Oops.
