It begins to rush towards them, cutting smoothly through the water, and she narrows her eyes as she quickly shifts her weight to the back end of the boat, wrapping her ribbon around her arm to gain some control before she gives her weapon a few good spins and casts— it catches the enormous fish right in the mouth, hooking in deep. The thrashing that follows is strong enough to almost knock her off her feet, but she keeps her center of gravity low and tugs upwards and to the right, causing the fish to swing away from them as it fights.]
