Chiron knows that what he is about to say will not be the hardest thing to accept in life, not when one was already a demigod well acquainted with how fantastic things could become. He knows that he ought to ask after his student's well being (was Patroclus still alive? That was important), but all things had centered on him for the time being. He'd turn it around surely enough.
"Beyond the realms of gods and men there is this...let us call it a vault of sorts that stores versions of the soul of great heroes. In this vault there is a version of yourself, of me, of many of our countrymen, and then those from other times and places as well. There are those skilled with magic or witchcraft or whatever term you'd like to use who can use their powers to extend a call into that vault and invite these souls out into the world again."
