Kenpachi turns around and Nanu sees the blade innocuously sticking out of his back, wobbling a little maybe like even it was questioning this entire affair.]

[Kenpachi hardly acts like it and Nanu's dimly aware the whole messiness of this situation was about to be readily apparent. Well. Fine. He's hopeful he won't have to waste his energy transforming into an animal over all this nonsense and he's not about to get in Kenpachi's way like some fool.
The stabber procures a second (smaller) knife and lunges for Kenpachi while the woman scrambles to her feet and attempts to hold Kenpachi down at the leg, like that's actually going to do something. A third Welcomer again, targets Nanu, this time by throwing his dagger. Did all of these idiots bring small blades? If they had guns maybe there'd be something to worry about here but Nanu manages to dodge the blade easily. Unfortunately because of his proximity to Kenpachi, that means that there's two dagger lodged into his back.]
Shit. [He'll have to thank him later for being such a good and literal meat shield but the Welcomer that attacked Nanu then begins to gesture in the air, hands glowing green while he ominously chants the start of some spell. He needs to be dealt with immediately.]
Sorry about this big guy-- [With the closest weapon right behind him he pulls that dagger out of Kenpachi and throws it back at that Welcomer, stabbing him through the forearm right into the wood of the building behind him, spell interrupted.]
