I ESPECIALLY ENJOY FOOD HISTORY STUFF. somewhat less fun but still interesting fact: victorian era bakeries in london used to stamp their loaves if they had official bread approval! because a lot of bakeries would use sawdust instead of flour to save money and it became such a problem that bread became highly regulated.
