[Yeah, there's definitely something here dumber than those stupid signs. Bakugo had been so goddamn surprised when Kirishima showed up nearly a month ago by now, reacting in a mixture of anger-- angry that despite everyone from home supposedly being dead, his best friend managed to arrive two months after he had himself-- yet happy. Happy that he was alive. And hopeful that meant there were more who had survived the Hunger, somehow.
Their first day together definitely involved a lot of punching, and a stupid sleepover where they stayed up until three in the morning as Bakugo told him of all the things he'd went through so far.
Today the two were on a mission, and Bakugo was determined not to fuck up as horridly as he had last time. The last mission cost him the ability to see colour-- an impairment that wasn't anything he couldn't deal with, but it was frustrating as hell and a permanent reminder of his mistakes. He couldn't let that happen to him again, nor would he let it happen to anyone else as long as he was there to stop it.
Though you know.
This situation....
Didn't really seem like one that needed stopping.
In fact, it's taking a lot for Bakugo not to huff out a laugh at the sight of Kirishima walking around with one arm outstretched, bumping into just about everything. Instead he just sighs and reaches out to grab the red-head's wrist before he ends up tripping over his own two feet.]
How's that working out for 'ya, you fucking dumbass?
